A Dream that Survive Forever!

The contribution to the social upliftment is a dream of thousands but rare are the ones who come forward to make their dream a reality. One among those is the family of Sh. Jai Bhagwan Sharma, an Inspector from Delhi. http://www.sakshum.org/ui/page/Scholarship.jsp The family acknowledged Mr. Sharma’s love for children and his dream towards the education and betterment of girl children by offering scholarship to the talented and academically bright students to support and encourage them to move further towards achieving their goal in life. The schools initiated by Sakshum running under the project Adopt A School gives away this scholarship to one or more bright students from each school every year appreciating their hard work and giving inspiration to the others.

A Major section of India is deprived of either better education facilities or has weak financial background leaving a large section of the people in India illiterate. After all inculcating right knowledge, good principles and moral values will make the children a better person to survive in the society and will help them become one of the major survivors of the nation.

Such contributions, like that of Mr. Sharma’s family is worth appreciating and must come out as a motivation and inspiration to the others who genuinely desires to come forward to change the picture of our nation by educating the children who are the only future-maker of our. Their one contribution has given the organization a strong stand and motivates it to work further in the field of education.

Sakshum is not just giving away the formal education to those children but also giving them the opportunity to explore beyond their cocoon and get involved in several activities which add fun elements to their learning processes. It is giving all its efforts towards their overall upliftment. Read some more here at, http://www.sakshum.org/ui/page/AdoptASchool.jsp
